DEC 2024 (Re-visit)

Tried the apple as well as the seasonal mont blanc parfaits. Just like last time, the composition and layers of ingredients that make up the parfaits were beautifully presented and were very tasty. Price was reasonable for the quality of the fruits, fresh cream, custard, jelly and ice cream. Portion was quite big and satisfying.

This is a parfait specialty store with a small menu using seasonal fruits. They all look very fancy and you can see the effort in the presentation with all the different layers of cream, custard, fruits, jelly and ice cream. I ordered the strawberry parfait which was in season and it tasted just as amazing as it looked, everything in the parfait worked well together. It was light and not too sweet, finished off with some refreshing jelly at the bottom. It was not cheap but...

Nearly every bite I felt a new taste, texture, or layer as I dug through this proverbial mountain of apples, jelly, black tea cream, apple crisp, whipped cream, and that which I do not even know how to describe. The parfait is also incredibly filling, which I underestimated. Yes, this is better than a similarly priced parfait overlooking Shibuya crossing. No there's not much of a view from this place but the parfait distracts from that. If I can, I will revisit, although considering the price this parfait is definitely a once in a season...
