My brother and I came here off the reco of some family who came a year or two prior during their Japan trip and were glad we did because we absolutely loved it.
The food is incredible. You see everyone raving about the pizza dough and they are not wrong. Everything was amazing from the quick little appetizer of homemade eggplant, the pizza’s, the lasagna that Mario made for us when he initially wasn’t serving it, and the pistachio tiramisu that was the perfect way to end the meal.
Mario himself made us feel like we were at home and treated us like family. The hospitality, friendliness, and comfort that both he and his restaurant gave are comparable to none an it was exactly what we needed being on the other side of the world for the very first time.
We loved it so much that we are going back for lunch the following day. Do yourself a favour and don’t miss out on this place. You’ll regret it if you do. It’s truly such a special place and has some really outstanding food that you won’t be able to forget about for a long time.
UPDATE: adding photos from the lunch we had the next day. Seriously don’t miss this spot. We are so glad we decided to come back, everything was so fresh and tasted incredible. Left feeling so...

The pizzas were simple, the dough was soft and crispy at the same time. Everything was very traditionally Italian, cooked by Maaaarriiiooooo, the nice Italian man.
Delicious little fried bread starter, pistachio tiramisu to end the meal. Along with a few Italian pilsners.
Something that stood out was the ease of some changes to the pizzas. Some restaurants are so stringent on no changes, I feel like he would almost make you a custom pizza just to make you happy. (Sorry if I cause you trouble with cuatomers asking for custom pizzas now, mario 🤣)
The experience was awesome for us. We were mid week, so it was quiet, which gave him the opportunity to mingle with us. We exchanged stories, experiences and culture as well as getting some insights on the local & day trips from Osaka.
I would recommend dropping in to say hi and have a pizza, or two!
We will be back to try a kebab or breakfast.
Very child friendly, even with a large stroller. When our baby was upset, he was entertaining him so we could eat.
Thanks for having us, it was like a...
Read moreYou simply will not find any better pizza in Osaka, maybe even all of Japan. The owner is Italian and clearly puts his whole heart into each dish he makes. The tomato sauce on the pizza was absolutely incredible and fresh, we barely spoke while we ate because it was just so good. And, we had such lovely conversations with the owner who taught us a bit about Sicily and his culture. We were so happy to have chosen this restaurant!! And, the owner even gave us an umbrella for our walk home because it was raining, which was so thoughtful and kind. Thank you for the most...
