A diner similar to where I grew up back in the 70s or 80s. The owners are super sweet and kind and the menu is priced right, not expensive for tourist. Coffee is strong and delicious. English menu with nice variety. This place deserves 5 stars easily, but smoking is allowed in small space. I have never smoked, so the smell is not good for me. I got coffee to go, but I wanted to stay because the owners were so sweet. If cigarette smell does not bother you, I highly recommend.

Read moreThis was my favorite place in all of Japan that my wife and I ate breakfast at. We loved the shop and the owners were so polite. The food and coffee was incredible! We just really enjoyed it and they made our morning great.
There was one man who was cleaning tables, serving food, and taking orders, while the other women cooked. Their work ethic was outstanding and they were very polite to us, despite us not knowing really any Japanese.
If I ever get the honor of going back to Osaka, this will be the first place I eat breakfast at.

Other reviews mention smoking, but this is not allowed I think. There are signs indicating this. Maybe they allowed it a while back but, or on certain seats. We never noticed or smelled anyone smoking at least.
