One of the best ramen I've tasted yet. I got the tokusei toriton shoyu ramen (tokusei means you get the different toppings). Usually I order tonkotsu/hakata ramen (which is pork bone broth), but the ramen I ordered was a revelation. The toriton broth was somewhat thick, and it was delicious and well worth the 1150 yen. The store is located in a cutesy neighborhood. The staff is also nice. They have an English menu, just ask the staff. At first I didn't know how to say my order, so I showed the staff member the screenshot I took on Google maps, and that's how I pretty much ordered lol. Will definitely visit again and again!
2nd visit:
Okay, so I did visit again within a week lol. It was around 5:30pm on a Thursday and it wasn't crowded. This time I had tokusei toriton dandanmen. The broth on this one is thicker than that of the shoyu ramen. I still prefer the shoyu one, but this was really good too!
3rd visit:
The tokusei miso ramen was great too! The soup was thick and had a deeper flavor compared to their...

The broth was amazing, beautifully rich, foamy, and deeply flavorful. The toppings were well-balanced, featuring fresh greens, a perfectly cooked egg, tender slices of pork and chicken, and incredibly tasty meatballs that soaked up the broth’s umami goodness. My partner opted for their limited-edition spicy ramen and was just as impressed.

Read moreAte here our 2nd last night in Japan, honestly my favourite meal of the whole trip. My partner opted for the normal topping miso ramen, I went for the spicy Dandan noodles, which came with miso ground pork, and added the 2 slides of chashu pork.
I'm not over reacting by saying this is one of the best things I've never eaten, not only ramen. The stock was thicker than others I'd had, the spice level was just right, and the flavour was utterly superb, so rich and complex. The miso ground pork was utterly delicious, as was the chashu to a lesser extent.
Highly, highly recommended if you're in Umeda, or a short metro away...
