There is so much potential and I truly believed that this could be one of the best Arabian restaurants in Osaka with a 4.8 stars rating as I walked in, however this place has completely failed my expectations.
The salad was fresh. The aubergine appetiser was also flavourful and paired really well with the pita bread. Both dishes were not outstanding but they tasted pretty delicious.
But I am truly in disbelief with the kebab, probably one of the simplest dishes you could make with marinated meat and a grill. First of all, the kebabs (all three kinds of meat) came completely lukewarm, that is a very bad sign because I did not have to wait long before it arrives… unless it wasn’t freshly grilled? but why?
One bite into the meat itself made me question my entire existence, the flavour was fine but both the texture of the chicken and the lamb was mushy, as if it was frozen in the freezer and heated up to defrost it before putting it on the plate.
I genuinely could not tell that it was a kebab, it was not served piping hot, it does not have the juiciness of the meat and most importantly it was lacking the texture of any fresh-off-the-grill meat dish. The kofteh tasted okay (because it uses minced meat anyways), just slightly on the salty side.
Having tried many kebabs in my life, there is definitely something wrong in the process, maybe it is the way they prepare it or the meat was not sourced fresh, or worse, both.
It can be a good choice of a restaurant if you have never tried authentic Arabian food and want to experience something new. You might find it delicious and wonder why I have given it a low-rated review. Try ordering kebab at another restaurant and you will know...

If you are up for a refreshing drink, try Tamarindo juice. It is a bit tart. It is strange to say that if Dr. Pepper and fresh-squeezed lemon juice were put together, and that was all made naturally, that's precisely what Tamarindo juice would taste like.
This is the place to go if you are looking for casual halal food. The chef is very friendly, and the food is excellent. This is a sister restaurant of the main 7 Hills with smaller selections on the menu, but it's...
Read moreI am very impressed with this place. A wonderful atmosphere. Great, I repeat GREAT, Arabian dishes and food items. Professional and class service. Chef Hasan is an amazing gentleman. Not only he has a better-than-homemade recipe for everything we ordered, he also added his personal touch by attending to customers needs. Hasan went out of his way to make us feel at home with his hospitality and sweet personality. This is truly a must-visit place when you are in Osaka and you want to enjoy Arabian food. I recommend you try the Kebbeh, Kufta with Tahini, Lamb Sajyeh, and the Mixed BBQ. But I believe you won't be disappointed no matter what...
