If you love (well cared for and rescued) cats this is one of the best to visit!
The cats are rescued to be adopted and you can tell that they care for the cats as there are no bad smells and minimal hair or stains, which means they do lots of cleaning. They also request no handling of other cats (outdoors or other cafes) prior to entering to avoid stressing them out with scents of other cats being brought in.
When I was there a cat did a poop and they instantly cleaned it up so that there was no lingering smell and to avoid unpleasantness for the visitors - very attentive and considerate!
The cats have varying degrees of socialness and if you are lucky they may choose to sleep on your lap. Some are happy to be pet all over and some are aloof or skittish (likely due to prior life on the streets).
It is a residential style dwelling and you do have to walk through small alleyways to get there, please be mindful about not disturbing the other residents on...
Read moreAmazing cat cafe! Everything about it was so cozy and welcoming. We started with the fried soy lunch set, and the food was delicious and fresh, definitely the best food we've ever had at a themed cafe. The dining room was cute and looking into the cat room, so even before playing we could watch the cats. The cats themselves were all clearly comfortable, had plenty of places to hide/rest if they weren't feeling social, and there were enough extroverted cats to keep us entertained. The moment my husband sat down, he had two kittens in his lap! We had a wonderful time and felt much better after feeling homesick for our pets. The owner clearly cares for her cats very well, we loved it! I'm a vet tech so I always worry about the actual standard of care for animals at themed cafes and this one had great vibes all around. ❤️...
Read moreThis place was a stark contrast to my previous experience at a cat cafe, but only in the best of ways. The cats here are all rescued and many are so affectionate. I had two separate kitties curl up on my lap! I ended up with pins and needles but it was so worth it.
I also dined in at the cafe. Due to a mistake on our end, we received the wrong order, but the employees were so kind and didn’t charge us for our mistake. (So sorry and thank you!)
I ordered the karaage set. It was so yummy! I’m not vegan but I’d definitely eat this again.
The merchandise they sell here is also very nice. I purchased a manga made by a volunteer. It was so cute!
The main employee (I think she’s the owner?) also speaks fluent English. Foreigners are very much welcome.
This place is pure heaven for that niche of people who love cats and...
