You want something familiar and you want to use a card, so you hop into Starbucks Tsutaya in Kita Ward,,, especially if you're staying across the street at Ostay Umeda.

It is AWESOME! I'm not a huge Starbucks person but it was just what I needed. The season maple walnut cheese tart is yummy! The strawberry pastry was perfectly spongy and light, I got a moussed cappuccino and that was weird....cold moussed foam on top! Order your drink extra hot so it stays warmer longer.

The books...are amazing! Why aren't are book stores this awesome! I was blown away be all they had to offer. Want a cool travel organizer? They have em! Want to sip a coffee while checking out the 2020 guide of craziest cafes in Osaka and Tokyo? They have that book! Wanna identify the military jacket you saw a kid walking the streets with? They have the most extensive catalogue on Military clothing I have ever seen. Seating is phonomenal and the bathroom is the most accessible friendly...

A beautiful building that is also a Tsutaya Book store. Many people order coffee and browse new books like it's a library (it is not). The facilities are clean and new and their is a spacious and well kept restroom that is uncommon in Starbucks. Unfortunately, the place is packed to the rim with students with empty cups and open textbooks. They constitute most of the clients. I was a bit irritated until I found that the building is part of the Kansai University Me Rise Facility. It is their place and I'm the guest.
