Avoid this place. Food was shockingly bad. Not well presented at all. It's almost as though they didn't care. The drinks we ordered for our kids were nothing other than synthetic syrup in water with a few berries on top that were mostly ice with no flavour. The pizza was mid at best. The steaks we ordered were ok but the entire dish needed seasoning. We actually asked for salt, which we have not done in 2 and 1/2 weeks of travel in Japan, and our server seems confused and possibly even upset. My daughter ordered a selection of olives and a small plate of tomatoes with onions. The olives came rolling around on a small plate with no garnish at all (see image). The tomatoes were underripe and green . The mojitos we ordered used a poor quality rum and likely used synthetic mint syrup for flavouring, rather than the real deal. The only saving grace for this restaurant was the tiramisu, which was actually pretty good.

The restaurant is overall quite good, but the service was inconsistent. One short-haired server was very attentive and provided excellent service. She noticed that we didn’t have plates to receive our food and promptly brought them over. On the other hand, the long-haired girl with a low ponytail left a bad impression. I noticed that other tables had water, so I asked her if we could get some, and she rudely told us to get it ourselves at the counter. I wasn’t upset about getting the water myself, but rather that she didn’t inform us upfront that water was self-serve. Moreover, she was just wandering around the restaurant, not really doing anything, and didn’t give us plates for our food, unlike the other tables. It was only when the short-haired server noticed that she brought us the plates. I was really frustrated with the behavior of the long-haired server, but the short-haired one did a good job in contrast.

Very disappointed. This is probably the worst restaurant we’ve eaten at in our week in Osaka. We came here as we were staying nearby and wanted to grab a quick dinner. The vibe seemed quite nice but the food is really bad. Firstly many of the items on the menu were “sold out” (but we arrived ard 630pm). The steak was sinewy and couldn’t be chewed through. The salmon and avocado pasta was bland with the salmon tasting fishy. It’s easy to get spoiled with good food in Japan so it’s surprising this restaurant could survive amongst the competition. Maybe young people come for the craft beer (we ordered some non-alcoholic cocktails and they were mediocre). Do yourself a favour and buy some food from the basement of department stores or even the convenience store.

Brand new place. Great location in Umeda. Great decor and atmosphere (except the overhead trains that are frequent and loud) However this is not a brew pub as it seems from the name and visible equipment. Only one beer brewed on site. Food was just meh. Servers were very pleasant but had no idea about the provenance or flavor of the beers on the menu (google was better informed).

Interesting. After a few months lockdown due to COVID I ventured out to this place since it has outdoor seating and is next door to my apartment. The fried chicken was really good. But they added a spurious drink to my bill, which also happened a year ago also when I first went. I did not report it last time (review above) since I thought maybe it was just a simple mistake. But two for two? Either this place rips off gaijin for fun, or I had really bad luck. If you do go, I suggest you look carefully...
