A friendly barmaster who may speak a bit of English (probably a lot more than he let on) but we conversed mostly in Japanese. Cocktail prices are quite high, higher than I would be willing to pay for more than one martini--though the martini I had was good (a vesper), if in a smallish-sized martini glass (maybe the one I have at home is oversized?)
He doesn't make dirty martinis, apparently, and seems to be of a disposition that dirty martinis aren't a great idea. All fine except I prefer dirty martinis. Small dish of obscure but tasty barsnack comes unbidden, and with it no doubt a counter charge (customary in Japan). I just covered my eyes and paid.
Wood everywhere, wood bar, elegant atmosphere without being too posh or gaudy. Can't recall if he had music going but I imagine he did. I was with a couple of other guys and we kept our voices down even though we were the only ones there.
Get the master talking about liquor and it's clear he has researched his subject. All in all if you want to have one relaxing drink for about 20 bucks US I would definitely recommend. But don't expect a dirty martini.
Forgot to ask why Tom & Jerry, as there is no animated artwork there. Maybe there is a meaning I am simply...

The intimate space features a few seats at the bar counter and a couple of tables in the back. The backbar complements the aesthetic seamlessly, offering a curated, old-school charm. Quiet rock music plays in the background, adding warmth without overpowering the setting.

However, the coasters are a nice touch and feel thoughtfully considered.
Service: 8.5/10 Warm towels were offered. Water was served only on request. Complimentary snacks were provided. The bartender was skilled and professional—not overly chatty but clearly knowledgeable. Prices are below average compared to Tokyo-level bars, enhancing the overall value of...
Read morePlain and simple - Bar tender was unprofessional and RUDE Wednesday 14 May 9pm! We were out looking for a cocktail bar and found Tom&Jerry’s. We ordered the special Yamasaki old fashioned (top of list) and my wife asked to make it more on the NOT sweet side. She asked to make it with half the “simple syrup” the bar tender started to argue with her on if she had his drinks before and she asked again. This went back and forth 3 times and we should have LEFT! Not only did he make it sweeter with 2times the sweetness he also used normal ice cubes while the rest of bar received big block cubes. I ordered an old fashioned and got small cubes as well. Again while the rest of bar after us received big cubes. Finally as we left the bar tender decided to follow me to the door in an intimidating gesture to send us out. VERY disappointing with this service and unfortunately left bad taste as this was the last part of trip. See pictures of...
