Yan! Namba honten — Restaurant in Osaka

Was recommended from one of the shop staff near this area. We want to have Okonomiyaki and Yakisoba as a dinner, so we ask the Fabric Mist Workshop staff what he recommends for that? He recommends us this restaurant and send us a google map location. We follow the map but can't find the restaurant at the first time. We try finding many ways and ask some passing by. Finally two Japanese mother and daughter lead us the way to the restaurant. Many thanks to those kind Japanese. There is no English menu at all but since I have some basic Japanese, so we can understand some words and make an order. Food is super delicious, especially (Pork) Yakisoba ! 😋 The chef and staff are very helpful and friendly. The price is also reasonable. Tucked in a quiet corner, this place is a true gem and exactly what we were looking for after arriving in Osaka.

Yakisoba was probably the best we’ve had for the entire trip. The egg omelette and Okonomiyaki were equally outstanding.

They provide all sorts of toppings like Bonito flakes, seaweed flakes, etc., and sauces for you to customize to your liking.

大阪旅行の夕食に、家族１０人で５時から予約して行きました。見たところ、テーブル席４人がけが５つくらいのこじんまりしたお店なので、予約必要かなと思います。奥にもっと席あったらすみません。

人数が多いので、ぼてじゅうみたいな大型チェーンにいこうかと思ってたのですが、ここのレビューに「地元の人が、遠方からのお客を連れていきたい店」的なことを書いてあるのを見て間違いなさそうと思い選びました。

焼きそば、太麺で甘めのソースの絡みかたも絶妙、大好評でした。追加で何種類か頼みました。 お好み焼き、安定のおいしさ。 メニューのおすすめに書いてあったホルモンとかキャベツとかいろいろ炒めたやつ、大好評で追加注文しました。 鳥モモ焼き、甥っ子(18)がうまいと言ってました。 餃子、カリッカリでうまい！衣少しついてるな。よそで食べたことない感じでした。 だし巻き玉子、優しいお出汁の味。これが大阪のだし巻きか～うまし。 ピリ辛きゅうり、おいしいけどかなり小鉢です。
