What an experience! This is possibly the tastiest, cutest, and most welcoming sushi restaurant in Otaru.
The nigiri rolls are excellent and feature very fresh local seafood, some of which can only be found on Hokkaido. Our rolls included local fish, shellfish, roe, uni, squid, and other items. A few of the offerings aren’t for the faint of heart (e.g., cod milt) but the chef is happy to remove items you don’t like/ are apprehensive about trying.
The chef speaks limited english but is very friendly and makes an effort to explain each item as it is presented. He treats you as he would a guest in his home.
