The ingredients were definitely fresh and high-quality — it felt like the seafood had just been caught straight from the ocean and served.

It was my first time trying kaisen-don, which I’d describe as a rice bowl where sushi rice and the main seafood ingredients are placed together rather than rolled separately.

While the ingredients themselves were excellent, I’m not entirely sure if the overall dish felt refined or well-balanced in flavor. I also wouldn’t say it was particularly good value...

We chanced upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try as a late lunch at 2pm. Service was prompt even though we couldn’t speak a word of Japanese. The server was able to anticipate our requests and accommodated us very well.

Food wise, we ordered 2 premium seafood bowls and a grilled fish. Quantity was good but quality was average.

Atmosphere was ok - bright with high ceiling. Good space between tables...

We arrived around 10.45am and it was quite empty. The staff was friendly and asked us to order via the qr code on the table. I ordered the salmon and tuna bowl and was amazed by the quantity and quality for only ¥500. However the crab leg and sockeye salmon fillets were a little overcooked and salty.
