Look - I’m an American who loves sushi and I may be an idiot in terms of expertise on this. But I thought it was delicious, well presented and that the staff were very friendly and welcoming. There were a wide variety of ‘filler’ plates if you’re looking to not spend much, like crab salad sushi and rolled eggs. Then there were a wide variety of very fresh offerings too. I did not order off the menu but saw many others doing so and the service was fast with beautifully presented food. This place isn’t bad at all. The nigiri, I felt like the rice-to-fish ratio was a bit off — there was a little too much rice compared to the sashimi portion.

I hate to say it, but I didn’t really care for the tuna. The chu-toro was a bit disappointing, and the regular tuna didn’t stand out either. My favorite was actually the salmon — that one was great. The hotate (scallop) was surprisingly good too, not the usual kind I get but still enjoyable.

I also tried the uni, and while it wasn’t bad, I feel like they kind of skimped a little on the portion. Personally, I still prefer Santa Barbara uni, but for what it was, it wasn’t terrible.

Super long queue Like literally 10 minutes before its open time The queue is crazy

We got there early just to queue for another 10minutes

And the eating experience is stressful As the people who waiting actually sits behind you watch you eating

You need to know a certain level of Japanese to order food there

Most of the customers are Japanese.
