DISCRIMINATION! I went to this store with my husband to buy a cake. When we entered the store, there were two parties waiting in front of the cake display. There was no sign as to how the line works, so we each waited on opposite end of the line. After a while, I saw the party next to my husband being served, then later the group next to me being served, so theoretically I would be served next. I almost waved my husband to come over to my side, but glad I didn’t. Not sure since when some people started lining up behind my husband and only one person was lining up behind me. Then a staff member told me and the person behind me to go line up on the other side! If I was lining up wrong, then she should have told the Japanese party to line up on the other side too! I was so mad about their customer service! Glad that my husband was still in line so we were served next, otherwise I would have just left the store.

Love the strawberry tart at this place!! Not too sweet & the pastry is just nice :-) There are many varieties but we can only eat that much so perhaps if there is a next time :-) The only thing not so nice is the coffee as it is a bit diluted…. A bit more coffee powder will be nice :-). Love the ice cream as they are simply smooth & not too sweet 😋😋😋 Dun worry if you miss this one as they have quite a few outlets in Otaru itself :-)

Went to this store last year during winter holiday and tried Le Tao famous double fromage cake. The cheese cake is impressive and love it. The cake is very soft and the cheese taste very nice. Tried their cheese ice cream but in my opinion, the taste is okay. The space in the store is not so big and only can accomodate...
