We passed by this restaurant at first but didn’t think about going in. We wanted to check out other places to see what food options were available. There were eight of us traveling together.

We went to the first restaurant, but the staff told us there were no seats. However, we could see that the place was empty. Then, we tried a second restaurant, and they also said there were no seats—even waiting outside wasn’t allowed.

After being rejected by two places in a row, I started wondering if Otaru wasn’t welcoming to foreigners. So, we decided to go back to this restaurant—and to our surprise, it turned out to be amazing! The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and they welcomed foreigners.

It only has a Google rating of just over 3, which is definitely underrated! I highly recommend everyone to try this place. If I ever come back to Otaru, I’ll definitely return to...

I bought the 2988 per pax and it comes with only 2 types of soup which are sukiyaki and kelp soup, please don opt for this package as the kelp soup is just like plain water and the sukiyaki taste bad and super sweet, and they don’t come with yummy sauce for pork to dip with , freaking disappointed. I can only recommend French fries and raw squid, edamame as sides. No...

Please be aware of this restaurant. I felt like i was scammed. It's still acceptable if they charge the seating fee ¥121 per pax, but they also charged us ¥499 per pax for a small bowl of edamame as appetizer. We did not order it and they didn't even bother to tell us that the edamame is not a complimentary. The picture shown is 2 serving portions of...

I bought the 2988 per pax and it comes with only 2 types of soup which are sukiyaki and kelp soup, please don opt for this package as the kelp soup is just like plain water and the sukiyaki taste bad and super sweet, and they don’t come with yummy sauce for pork to dip with , freaking disappointed. I can only recommend French fries and raw squid, edamame as sides. No more next time.
