I recently tried this noodle shop, and the overall experience was very disappointing. Here are my specific thoughts:

Poor Food Quality: The noodles were overcooked and too hard, lacking any chewiness. The soup was excessively salty, making it almost unbearable after just a few sips. The overall flavor was mediocre and did not meet expectations—it was downright unpleasant.

Cramped Space: The restaurant is extremely cramped, with almost no space between seats. Moving even slightly would result in bumping into the person next to you. This environment is only suitable for a quick solo meal and is completely unsuitable for dining with friends or family.

Terrible Service: The owner’s attitude was awful—cold and even impatient. When I asked a few questions while ordering, I was met with rudeness. There was no sense of customer service whatsoever. This kind of treatment made the experience very uncomfortable, and I will definitely not be returning.

In summary, this shop was disappointing in terms of food, atmosphere, and service. I do not...

We came here for lunch in December 2024. I had the seafood base tonkotsu ramen. It was not overpoweringly fish or salty, it was very good and a large portion. My husband had the mazesoba, a slightly spicy noodle dish with egg, meat, and onions that you mix up, season with condiments, and then eat. Afterwards, you can ask for a small, free portion of rice to mix with the remaining sauce and meat. My ramen was delicious, but after trying my husband’s mazesoba, I wish I had ordered that, it...

Came here on a Tuesday night. They speak a little English, have an English menu and are very friendly. We ordered the chicken broth salt ramen which was very light and delicious! And the house special pork broth ramen with miso -- it tasted like it had sesame in it, which was also very rich and delicious! We also had the dumplings / pot stickers which had light crisp skin and were juicy. Overall, wonderful spot for a bowl of warm,...

Amazing ramen! We were the first customers for the day and had the whole place to ourselves for a bit. Loved how the texture of the noodles were. First time seeing such thin meat used in ramen, but it felt so good. Texture and tasted like ham. Definitely has to add more meat as one slice for the main bowl was just too little. Seafood pork bone broth was amazing!

Husband and I were looking for Tsukumen and Maze Soba and this place had both. Our eyes were hungrier than our stomach. Should have just ordered the small Maze and the small Tsukumen. Regardless, craving satisfied! But TBH, the Maze was better than the Tsuke. Would come back again next time we are in Otaru… which is several times during snowboarding season!

Although the service was really good, I didn't really like the most popular menu, the soy sauce ramen. Paid extra negi(spring onions) but the portion was super small as well which was disappointing as well... The porky taste from the soup and the noodles came heavily if you know what I mean, a bit too much. But again the service was really friendly!
