Couldn’t wait to come back since our La at visit. This hidden gem in Otaru is a must for every trip we make back to Hokkaido. Worth a drive if you’re up for a drive from Sapporo. The menu isn’t too big and minor changes every time we come with the staples still in place like the margherita pizza. The fresh local ingredients really popped through and his made to order sauces are what makes every item stand out. The dough for the pizza was unbelievable thin, crispy around the edges and perfectly soft at the same time. Glad we could bring our sister this time around and she now understands why it’s a must for every trip. Highly recommend making a reservation. Bear in mind there is limited seating and to order accordingly as he is a one man show, making each item with extreme perfection. Thank you so much for another great meal. See you possibly...

If there’s a quiet moment take the time to talk to him. He’s incredibly friendly and kind. Also worth noting is that he has a serious Japanese pizza lineage. He worked under a pizzaiolo in Okinawa who cut his teeth at Savoy (now Seirinkan - one of the best pizza...

We ordered a green salad, margarita pizza with olives and anchovies and a pasta dish (creamy pasta with mushrooms and prosciutto) that...
