always thought Tsukiji had the best sushi...but this is on a whole other level. You’re getting it in the absolute shortest timeframe possible.
This particular place is in a convenient location but it is small so I’d highly recommend you get there right when they open if you’re serious about your experience.
The staff was so friendly, welcoming to foreigners, and the service was excellent. The pricing felt like a steal for the exceptional quality. I got the maguro (tuna) and I wish I could put into words the texture and taste. I implore you to go here. I used to think I understood the meaning of “melt in your mouth.” Not until you try this.

I would probably just grill the sushi a bit more (but that is just how I personally like having it) Also, heads-up —if you’re not big on wasabi (like me), ask for little or none in the sushi because it felt quite overpowering/strong.
👤Service was good— they give you a hot towel and tea to start, which was a nice touch. The vibe was cozy too, with low, chill music in the background.

Read more#1- ordered salmon nigiri set, although I think he gave 1 extra piece, every single slice of fish was terrible. It either had holes in it or was weirdly sliced. 1 of the lousier salmon nigiris I’ve eaten
#2- ordered 2 more premium nigiri sets, no wasabi on any piece except 1 or 2 random pieces. Chef was talking nonstop to some peeps at the counter so not sure if he forgot or really intended to only put wasabi on 1 or 2 pieces
#3- 1 piece of nigiri in the premium set was swapped out without any prior notice so I had to try and figure out which piece was swapped
