Starbucks Coffee - Omiya Station West Entrance — Restaurant in Saitama

I’ve been coming to this location since it opened mainly because of the outdoor seating and the friendly staff. All of the staff members have been great over the years. And the drink and food selection… well, it’s Starbucks.

This leads to the one bone of contention that I have. I’m not sure who made the idiotic decision to put only one chair at the outdoor tables, but you’re losing customers because of it. There’s limited seating in the store, so the five tables outside are often a last option for customers when they want to make a purchase and sit down, especially on weekends and holidays. I just saw a family of four eyeball two empty tables outside with a chair at each, and they walked away. It’s not the first time I’ve seen people do the same. Here’s an idea…maybe clean the four chairs you have stacked and hiding in storage space and take an extra three minutes in the mornings to put two chairs out with each table. Just think of how many more sales your store could make by having two paying customers at a table than one… or none, with people...

「大宮駅西口周辺は、イベントでも開催されない限り、休日でも人出は多くない。だからこのスターバックスも終日空いている」 という概念を持っている人の利用が多いように見受けられます。それを裏付けるかのように、このスターバックス周辺は休日でもそれ程人の往来は多くないですが、このスターバックス内は非常に混雑しており、客の回転も悪く、店内で飲食する場合席を確保するのも一苦労です。席数が30席程度しかない小規模な店であることも、その混雑に拍車をかけているように思います。 オープンテラス席もありますが、店の窓ガラスを隔ててカウンター席と物凄く近い場所に設置されているため、まるでカウンター席の客から終始見られているようで、あまり落ち着いて飲食出来ないかもしれません。 給仕されるドリンクや料理の質、スタッフの接客対応の質は、他のスターバックスと遜色ありません。

I think that many customers have this speculation about who uses this Starbucks. As if to confirm this, there are not so many people coming and going around this Starbucks even on holidays, but the inside of this Starbucks is very crowded, and it is hard to secure your seat when eating or drinking in the store because the customer turnover is slow. The fact that it is a small store with only about 30 seats seems to add to the congestion. There are open terrace seats, but they are placed very close to the counter seats across the window glass, so you may feel as if you are being watched by the customers at the counter all the time, and you may not be able to eat or drink in a relaxed manner. The quality of the drinks and dishes served and the customer service of the staff are on par with...

Lovely little ( and yes it's little) store.

The staff were friendly and very helpful.

It was great to see seasonal menu options.

Seating is ok, if there's none inside you can always go to the park outside .

Only real complaint is that the power points are made...
