On our very first night in Sapporo, we decided to make it memorable—and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Walking in, we were immediately greeted with the option of five different types of crab, each one looking better than the last.
The all-you-can-eat menu went far beyond crab too. We were surprised to find that sashimi, yakitori, and even yakiniku were all included in the price, alongside a long list of other dishes. It felt less like a buffet and more like being invited to taste Sapporo’s specialties all in one sitting.

Read moreTips: 1) Must make reservation, 2) In your group divide up getting the crab/shell fish/meat/drinks to maximize your time, 3) prep by checking crab cutting up YouTube videos, 4) 70 or 90 mins for a crab feast is TOO short - takes ages to get the meat outta the shells, so book the longest course, 5) the covered hot food plates don't have English descrips 6) ice cream is near the drinks, 7) tables for 4 are small and the DIY grill is small - so use the same plates for meat and fish. Fish/meat quality is good, but NOT great. If you want better, go to a crab or meat restaurant. It's a kind of food race atmosphere...if you want calmer and classier book the Hokkaido Seafood Restaurant Jyuroku - that's the counter seats in the same room by the kitchen area. I enjoyed my meal, tried all sorts of shell fish for the first time, ate enough crab and pigged out...
Read moreOverall a great All you can eat Japanese crabs place! We went with the buffet plus crabs for 90 mins. There are king crab, kanasaki crabs, hairy crabs, snow crabs available. Staff were friendly and helped clear our table on a regular basis.
