Give me donuts Give me donuts Give me donuts There’s something paradoxically, low-key in your face about this little sando and doughnut bakery store, on the outskirts of Sapporo metropolitan centre, Susukino. The brief is simple; American / Euro style doughnuts and crullers (yeast-risen, not cake base) and squishy milk bread for the sandwiches. Between the sweet and savoury, it’s all texturally similar and simple which makes it great for an elevated, bakery breakfast, brunch or lunch. Nothing on the surface screams over the top – save maybe the choc banana filled doughnut ball – but the ingredients and composition really speak to care and solid foundational recipe. The yeast risen dough has great spring yet air pockets which speaks to a great proofing. The balls have a slight custard-y texture to them, suggesting an egg dough, similar to a profiterole. The sandwiches all look picture perfect and possibly taste the part too. We tried the beef bulgogi – the meat resembling something more of a sirloin cut sliced so it plays like a bulgogi flavoured Philly cheese, sans the cheese. Amazing especially with the house milk bread. The house and past visitors heavily recommend the mackerel sando and the sprinkles doughnut. Time to double back though there’s little doubt I’ll leave incredibly happy once again.

Highly recommend visiting here at least once. I'll be back tomorrow to try more of the delicious doughnuts Thank you for making my morning so special!!!

Donuts were amazing. Not greasy at all, moist, soft and tasty. The coffees were great and the portions are sizeable. The sandwiches are really interesting can’t wait to come back tomorrow to try other sandwiches. The ladies were really lovely too!

Donuts were amazing. Not greasy at all, moist, soft and tasty. The coffees were great and the portions are sizeable. The sandwiches are really interesting can’t wait to come back tomorrow to try other sandwiches. The ladies were really lovely too!

Exceptional hot egg and cheese sando! Equally exceptional caramel cream donut! Cheerful staff who were patient with my beginner Japanese. Recommended. UPDATE 10/29/2024: This has become a go-to for me, one of my favorite little eateries in Sapporo. If I don't have time for my favorite hot egg+cheese sando, the ready-made half-sandwiches in the counter case are really good, too...
