We stayed a a place around the corner, walking back we found the place we intended to go to were closed. We walked up the street to find this place was quiet with a vending machine as we walked through the front door.
Unlike some of the other places we've been to throughout Japan this place had no English menu so we matched the pictures with the writing, handed the tickets over and crossed our fingers.
The lady working spoke very basic English and provided us with a soup list for our choice. We had the standard broth plus one other. The other options were, spicy, hot and spice, rich, and miso. I went with the spicy and my partner went for the miso.

For those who prefer lighter tastes, the Torishio, with its complex yet balanced chicken broth and potato notes, is an excellent choice.
The staffs are friendly and welcoming. And there are menu in multiple languages that explains the soup to help you choose your...
