A late night and close by ramen meal brought us here.

ATMOSPHERE: Sliding open the nondescript wooden door revealed a bright, lively eatery full of locals. That’s what I’m talking about!

MENU: Ramen, tsukemen, soba, rice bowls & Izakaya-style apps.

BEVERAGE: Kyogetu Shochu Not a fan of this no flavor, straight up head cleaner-tasting drink. Yuck.

FOOD: Red Miso Ramen After having an outstanding white version elsewhere a few nights ago, I was curious to see how this’d taste. The thick broth had an intense and delish miso flavor, but unfortunately with a deal breaking bitter aftertaste. Toppings were aburrage, tender chashu, green onions, black sesame seeds, gooey egg and nori. Noodles were nice & chewy.

Fried Rice What makes a good fried rice, to me, is the flavor the pan or wok gives off to the grains. Here, I could slightly taste it. The seasoning was also uneven, with heavy salt flavors here and there.

SERVICE: Ring the buzzer on the table when you’re ready. Our server was friendly and food came out quick.

I wonder why this ramen is underrated. Cause I really like the ramen here. I found this restaurant incidentally cause I didn't have any plan before. They also don't have english menu so I just order based on the pic in the menu. I didn't have any expectation but surprisingly they brought me a bowl of super delicious ramen. Friendly staff, able to speak English. English menu available. The tsukemen serving was huge, so do not be like me. I ordered add-ons (more noodles and cha siu) and had a hard time finishing it.
