Upon arriving in Hokkaido on the first day, I went to this street for other Genghis Khan barbecue places, but all of them were full. Luckily, I asked a staff member at this place if there were any available seats and they let us in.
During my 7 days in Hokkaido, I ate at 5 different Genghis Khan barbecue places, and this one was definitely the best in terms of taste and service! I highly recommend the lamb tongue here. It was the first time in my life that I've eaten such a tender lamb tongue without any mutton smell. The lamb fillet was also very juicy and tender. The English of the waitstaff here was also good haha. On the last day of the trip, I wanted to eat here again, but unfortunately, I couldn't make a reservation without a Japanese phone number. Reservations are recommended. We came on a Friday and they were fully booked. We messaged them on Instagram and got a table on a Friday. They do have a English menu and the staff speak English.
We worked our way through the menu and everything was great. Don’t miss the dumpling that you also grill and slather in chili oil. The salad was also a good balance.
