I rarely give a 1 star review and to be honest it was not because of the food. The food in general was pretty good besides the fatty pork(not that good). When we came inside the restaurant no one told us that we had a limited time to eat because the spot at our table had a reservation. We did order quite a lot of meat for two people and had quite a plesant time for a while. The problems began when one of the servers told us it is our last order ....we where a bit confused because the restaurant did not look like it was closing and a lot of people where ordering more food, we said ok and ordered 2 more meat items. Another few minutes passed and another server came with the bill and told us that the place at the table we where using had a reservation, when we asked how much time we had left he told us 9 minutes. At that point we where a bit confused because our last order of meat did not arrive and we where being told to leave. When our order did arrive we started cooking it as fast as we could and tried to eat it as fast as we could when the same server came to us again saying he had a reservation and to leave the table. In the end we where basically rushed into leaving with food still cooking on the grill, we got up and got dressed while still chewing our food. If the staff would have told us during our last order that there would be not enough time to cook and eat our food we would have never ordered more. I find the attitude of the staff completely unproffesional, no one wants to pay and leave while the food is not even delivered to the table and after that to be told you have to leave while eating it. The staff should have told us clearly that there was not enough time to order more when they took our last order. You cant let people order food with 10 minutes left, deliver the food after 7 minutes and then expect us to cook it and eat it in...
Read moreUpon my visit to Sapporo, I stumbled upon Yakiniku Jingisukan Horumon, an exceptional dining experience I will never forget. I found myself drawn back not once but twice, primarily for their succulent lamb and rice, which is a testament to their culinary excellence.
While many flock to the popular Daruma and face the inevitable long queues, I urge fellow food enthusiasts to give this restaurant a try. The highlight for many might be the lamb or other dishes, but for me, it was the rice. To call it delicious would be an understatement; it was a mouthwatering masterpiece, and I cannot recommend it enough.
Beyond the food, what made the experience even more memorable was the dedicated staff. They work hard to ensure each customer enjoys not just the food but also the overall dining experience. Their warmth, professionalism, and attentive service added a personal touch that is often missing in many establishments today.
In conclusion, Yakiniku Jingisukan Horumon is a gem in Sapporo. My deepest gratitude goes out to the team for their relentless dedication to serving delightful food and providing impeccable service. Don't miss out on this...

During my recent trip to Sapporo, I had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic yakiniku restaurant that I highly recommend. The Wagyu beef was exceptional—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The quality of the meat far exceeded my expectations, especially considering the reasonable price. We ordered a platter for just 3,900 yen, which was an incredible value given the high quality and generous portions.
While the Wagyu was the star of the meal, the other meats like the gyutang were also quite good, though not quite at the same level. The restaurant itself was tidy and clean, and I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of smoke—unusual for a yakiniku place. Its convenient location makes it an easy stop for anyone exploring Sapporo.
Moreover, the staff were accommodating to English speakers, making the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Sapporo looking for a top-notch yakiniku experience at an...
