This was my favorite ramen place in Sapporo! Hidden on the second floor (one level up from the street), when it opened at 19:00 I was the only one there in this tiny place that fits 8 people (a family came in after me). It’s a standing at a bar type place, no seats. You get the chef’s recommendation, which changes often. Today it was a light, fish based broth which I hadn’t had yet and it was surprisingly great. Topped with meat, medium noodles, spring onions, nori and an egg. Luckily not a massive portion, was satisfied but not stuffed. Would 100% recommend and go back to next time!

Was expecting something amazing according to the ratings and reviews, came out with great disappointment unfortunately. The basic midnight ramen was dry fish base soup with thick noodles, which was very salty and with no depth, I can only taste the saltiness from beginning to end. The flat noodles were alright but not chewy. The daily special was miso base prawns ramen. It tasted like belachan (a Southeast Asia oil based shrimp paste), which was not very pleasant as a soup base. The thin noodles were too soft and with a hint of alkaline. I will not be revisiting.

A small standing ramen bar that offers seasonal menu items. Service was quick and polite and everything is cooked/prepared in front of you as you wait. I ordered the special ginger salted ramen who's broth was rich with small pieces back fat that melts in your mouth. The salted ginger topping was similar to Hainan style chicken sauce and helped cut the richness of the broth. Noodles were firm and held up well. They are open late and is located in the back corner of the second floor. Worthy of a visit for the casual traveler and ramen fans alike.
