We wanted to try a local ramen store and the red catchy store sign caught our eyes. Their menus are very interesting especially the lunch set but unfortunately not for the time we visited.

Once stepped in the smell of the broth was really intense and honestly it was almost a foul smell for us. The order machine was really informative and easy to navigate with English version.

The portion of ramen is huge. The ramen noodle looks like a yakisoba noodle but it was really well cooked, bouncy and chewy. The soup is quite thick not that salty but really oily. I didn't dare to finish the soup but I have to say that it was a really good bowl of ramen.

It is a bit of a challenge looking for food in the late afternoon around Susukino, this ramen restaurant was the only shop open for business while most other places are doing their preparation.

While we entered, we noticed the somewhat oily floors as well as the presence of a slightly unpleasant smell. We were hungry so we decided to stay and made our order through the vending machine.

This Hokkaido chain ramen store opens 24hrs. The company are pretty unique about their market position. Blue collar, homey bar seats, super fast turn around. The quantity is huge for any standard, they even offer rice with ramen to make sure you have enough. Thick noodles but even thicker broth that has rich Unami taste.
