Who would have thought you can find an Italian trained chef making some of the best pizza on the planet in Sapporo?

I wouldn't have, but I found it!

Since Orso is a quick walk away from the Sapporo Beer Museum we stopped here after doing the beer tour. It was a great decision.

The pizza and chili oil was fantastic, and the cafe au lait ice cream was fantastic.

For under $25 Canadian for two of us to eat, it is an...

A real hidden gem in Sapporo. Surprisingly scrumptious Japanese-style Neapolitan pizza at a quieter side of town: perfectly-cooked, light & fluffy, 24-hr fermented dough with a super crisp crust (reminds me of Pizza Studio Tamaki) and genuinely lovely toppings. In fact, if The pizza wasn't that good, I'd be happy with three orders of this alone. But don't worry, the pizza is also excellent. We were very satisfied with the salmon kale capers design! We got a Margherita and a 5 Cheese both were very very good pizzas, approved by two italians. For an italian standard the size is on the small sode but we appreciated that because one can order two pizzas and finish them easily. Pizza chef and staff very friendly and cordial. Recommended spot for a good pizza in Sapporo.
