Fantastic sushi restaurant. Apparently only recently opened, the interior is beautiful and staff very attentive and helpful. Full English menu is provided (not a scaled down version of what the locals get), and there are other dishes for non sushi eaters : tempura, including some with snow crab, chawanmushi (which was lovely) and a crab miso. But the main deal is sushi and it was excellent. Top quality fish prepared by very capable chefs. We had a look at the stalls doing seafood over the road at the fish market, but we were put off by the queues and hordes of tourists. The same dishes are on offer here to be enjoyed in more relaxed (and warm) surroundings. All the staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us - down to helping us on with our jackets and coming outside to say arigatogozaimashita and sayonara (Thank you and Goodbye). We will be back next...

There was an option for all you can drink, which was a great deal, as opposed to ordering sake by the glass repeatedly. We came for the crab, which was excellent, but enjoyed every course. While the uni the night before at a different restaurant was “fishy”, this evening it was perfect. While the scallop the night before was seated, this one was sashimi style and delicious. We did not leave hungry and did not need to order extra. I would give ten stars if I could. This was in my top ten, possibly top five omakases...

The sea urchin is incredibly fresh and has a delicate, buttery texture that melts in your mouth. The toro is equally as delicious, with a rich and silky texture. Highly recommended!
The crab is really fresh and cooked to perfection. You don't even need a sauce as the natural sweetness of the crab meat is really great. It's not messy to eat because all crab legs were well managed by staff.
The tempura is also a great choice. The batter is light and crispy, and the shrimp and vegetables are perfectly cooked.
Staff are friendly and professional. We had a...
