I visited the place for the second time. A couple months back, I was with my boyfriend and sat at the counter seat カウンタ. That time everything was good. Good food, drink, and atmosphere all very satisfactory. So this time I brought my parents. Sat at the back; even after ordering, we had to sit there without food for such a long time. we had NO APPETIZERS! The girls in the next table who came in much later than us had their appetizers as soon as they sat and had their steamed rice before us. We waited only with our Kimchi side dish and beer for 30 minutes before we saw our beef dish. Later to check out, saw 3 side dishes charged to our bill and asked they showed the photo of appetizer and said we ate something we did not. When the girls next table had it, I thought they ordered it and when first time I visited I thought my boyfriend had ordered it. How would I have known? Thank god I checked my bill before I made payment. I couldn’t have imagined they would charge us for something we certainly didn’t eat! Talked to another server using google translator and had it removed but overall it was a very bad experience telling them to remove items we didnt have from the bill and waiting so long for our food in smoke filled room. Was able to call the restaurant and make a reservation 30 mins before we head to the restaurant…..it is located nearby the shopping street so the location itself is quite convenient……you will have to grill the meat yourself but the staff will explain to you how to do it….the quality of the meat is pretty good, and they have a good selection of different parts of beef……..vegetable wise the choices are limited……Staffs are friendly and they clean out the dishes quickly so you can have more space on the table. The only downside was they have prepared your dipping sauce with topping in advance and some of us didn’t like to have onions or spices in their sauce so……….They also give out one small beef patty to each customer as a complimentary dish………They use QR code to place the order and they use the automatic translation in safari etc which some of the translation can be pretty bad, luckily there are photos next to the items...

My wife and I visited Takamatsu for the first time and had dinner at this restaurant. We made a reservation through Google and were guided to a bar seat.

We enjoyed various cuts of meat and rice, but we did not receive the appetizer that was served to other tables.

I tried to communicate with the staff using a translation app, but they didn’t seem to understand properly. In the end, we had to pay the table charge without receiving the appetizer.

Several other foreign guests have mentioned in Google reviews that they also did not receive the appetizer, which is a serious issue.

It is unacceptable to charge a table fee for foreign guests while intentionally withholding...
