As mentioned by others, the ginger ramen is an interesting take on shio broth - it was a refreshing option for hot soup on a warm day, and I was surprised by how delicious and invigorating it was. The ginger ramen also comes with chicken breast instead of pork which helps it feel maybe not quite so heavy when the weather is warm. Tried it on a whim and was glad I did! The chef also has decent English skills and while the menu is only Japanese it's easy to order what you're looking for. Right off the main shopping street in Takamatsu and worth a stop for something a little different.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic ramen made with care and passion!

An absolute highlight in Takamatsu! We had an incredible ramen experience for lunch today – one soup was soy-based, the other had a ginger-salt base. Both were excellently balanced and very easy on the stomach. The noodles were especially delicious, with a wonderful texture and flavor. The chef, who is also the owner, was extremely kind and welcoming. Even as foreigners, we felt completely comfortable and at home in this restaurant. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic ramen made with care and passion!

First we entered the most magical atmosphere with this crazy good smell and jazz music in the background. Then we sat down and ordered the three main ramen dishes, Ginger Ramen, Salt Ramen and Soy Ramen from the nicest chef we encountered (who was working just himself).
