Diner meets Denny’s - type atmosphere.

A lot of the local kids come here with their friends after school. There was a bit of a wait but surprisingly fast considering we were the 3rd party to sign up.

Service is fast. You can use the iPad-type console to order. Languages available are English, Japanese and Chinese. The food comes fast in their robot server. Pretty cool.

Bathrooms are a little smelly - in a bad way. Couldn’t stomach the smell so I just washed my hands and left.

Staff are moving around clearing plates quickly. They don’t seem to be rushing anyone out as students and this older guy next to me are...

An old standby. Amongst the narrow, smoky streets of Shimokita stands one restaurant with wide tables and a very decent drink bar. The combination means there is a place to comfortably spend hours working or chatting with friends. Outlets even included for your phone. 下北沢駅前にあるファミリーレストラン。おそらく、新下北沢の駅が完成した暁には。駅改札口の正面になるであろう位置に、ガストが在る形になると思われる。

駅前のビルに入るガストは、二階に有るのだが。階段が急なため、ちょっと危ないなという感じがする。そこで、階段の後ろにあるエレベーターで、二階に上がることを勧める。コンビニの入口の脇にエレベーターの乗り口がある。

店内は、割と広い。レジ正面にある壁で、店内が２つのエリアに別れている。一応、喫煙・禁煙は別れているものの。完全に分離されているわけではないので。多少煙の影響はあるかもしれない。

ドリンクバーは、その仕切の役目をしている壁際に用意されており。カップ類と共に、ソフトドリンクや珈琲マシン。又、サービススープ等が置かれている。

ファミレスというだけあって、親子連れがも多いようだ。子供が喜ぶような、お子様ランチというのも、ファミレスだけに用意されている。

昨今の、デジタル化で。店舗のwifiや各席の電源などが用意されれおり。充電をしながら、同時にインターネット通信を楽しむこともできる。まぁ、東京オリンピックのおかげとも言えるのかな？なんておもうけれど。

ただ、ガストの場合。各席が隣と仕切られているので。カウンタ席意外は、ボックスという感覚になる。パーティションやスペーサーではなく、そういう囲い的作りがいい。 板一枚の仕切りよりは。ボックス感...
