Like many good places in Tokyo, you’ll be sure to not be the only one waiting. There was a bit of a queue with around a half hour wait around lunch time. It was absolutely worth it though, the pasta I had was divine! It was a pesto type spaghetti with bacon, and honestly, was probably the most delicious pasta I’ve ever eaten in my life. It challenges the traditional, with flirty flavours, delicately rich and indulgent. Made with love in a very compact kitchen. The staff were kind, the music was great. Lovely atmosphere, with large windows and plenty of natural light. A great selection of records too. I will come back again and again whenever I’m in Tokyo. I also had the chai tea and honestly it just, sent my soul places. It was so. So. Good 🤣 just full of flavour, aromatic, sweet, delish! Really really love this place and will recommend it to everyone I know coming to Tokyo. Arigato...

The owner speaks very good English to aid those who can't read the Japanese menus, and he's super friendly. The record selection is excellent and the prices range from pretty cheap to fair. The atmosphere is cozy, although the limited space may sadly result in short wait times if it's particularly busy.

City Country City holds a feeling of being transported into a moment of pure serenity— a loft of light above the streets, the hum of the vinyl and rustle of vinyl enthusiasts as they move through the archives and the smell of some of the most incredible pasta I’ve had dancing through the space. This served with a couple beers was magic and the service was wonderful. This place is unmatched in its real authenticity and feeling of peace. Easy to walk past and never know if it’s magnificence, keep an eye out for this...
