▪️ Dojan biyori Dojan Biyori is a new restaurant that opened in December 2023.
A restaurant where you can taste the real bean paste under the supervision of a person who has worked at a famous restaurant in the real world.
The clean and warm interior is the perfect place to start your day.
This time, I chose the set menu, which includes all the dishes on the menu.
Dojang biyori is a dish made of tofu and thickened to a porridge-like consistency.
The soybean paste contains raayu (Chinese red chili oil) and vinegar, so mix well to let the flavors permeate.
The dish is topped with Chinese pickles, shrimp, green onions, and deep-fried bread, The base is a mild taste.
The ephemeral taste and texture worked gently on my stomach, making it a very suitable breakfast dish.
It may not be enough. The dish is filled to the brim by the middle of the meal.
It is healthy, satisfying, and excellent.
The side dish I ordered as part of the set, dang ping, was a first for me.
It was like an egg omelet wrapped in a crispy spring roll. The taste was unlike anything I have ever had before!
The sauce is very strong, so there is a big gap between the dumplings and the sauce 😂.
If you have room in your stomach, I highly recommend you try this dish.
Dessert was, of course, the soybean flour.
If you order a set, the toppings are left up to you and served randomly.
We ordered three of them and it was interesting to see the different things on all three ✨.
I had the bean flower with adzuki beans and sweet green beans.
Unlike the bean-jam, the texture of this dish was more firm than I expected!
Since there is a workshop attached to the restaurant, freshly made soy milk is also available for purchase.
Various flavors of soy milk, including odd ones, were available for sale and I had a crazy hard time deciding which one to take home 🥺.
I was also happy that they let us sample the food so we could make sure we were satisfied with our purchases.
I liked the cucumber soy milk and the Eastern beauty soy milk, but ended up buying the golden rhinoceros soy milk.
The soy milk is so heavy that you will be full just by tasting it.
At home, I poured it into a shot glass and drank it chi-chi chi-chi 😂.
Thanks for the...

Great, since now you replied, and said that your staff only spoke Japanese, well.
I was speaking in Japanese to them! 烏龍Mサイズひとつと無糖Mサイズひとつ、お願いします って言った! And they still made mistakes five times. So what’s your excuse this time? And you said they wouldn’t lie, hello, are you saying that I was lying about the product which I wanted to buy, sold out???? Excuse me, why would I say L was sold out when I wanted to buy L, but I had to buy an M instead.
And you said refill is possible during the day? Honestly, do you refill your products 10min before closing your store on that day? And we are taking about soy milk which is expected to be sold fresh.
My friend and I wanted to purchase bottled soya milk, the staff got the flavor and size wrong five times in total. I said ‘oolong’ and ‘original’, (オリジナル) multiple times, and I asked for L size. She checked the fridge and told me ‘ah sorry L size Oolong is sold out’. I had to ask her to change both flavors to M-size. Yes, this part alone, she was mistaken five times. However, when I checked the receipt, it says both bottles were original flavor, after all these explanation, she STILL got it wrong…and this wasn’t over, another friend of mine came to the store before it closed, and text led me that he got the L-size oolong flavor, the one she told me it was sold out 20min ago :) I don’t know to what extent that language was the main challenge here, but literally, Oolong in both Japanese and English doesn’t sound that much different. And what about lying to the customers, their product was sold out when it wasn’t ? Maybe the store owner should consider of hiring someone...

Visited around noon on a Saturday. There were about 20 seats inside, and if you wanna dine in, you’re supposed to grab a seat before ordering. I came alone and wasn’t told that, but the next group (two ladies) were… so I only realized after overhearing them and rushed to get a seat. Hmm.
Ordered the set with salty soy milk (鹹豆漿) and egg pancake (蛋餅). They warned me it might take time, and yep — waited about 30 mins. It was lunchtime, so I get it, but the operation could use some fine-tuning.
They bring the food to your table, but the number token they give you is tiny — like a little game piece! Kinda hard to spot, especially when they’re looking for your table. Maybe a bigger sign-style number would help, or just call out the number for pickup?
Some people even asked to cancel their orders because of the wait.
Service-wise, it was a bit disappointing… BUT — the food itself? So good!! The soy milk wasn’t too funky, just right, and the egg pancake was warm, chewy, and fresh ◎
They also sell bottled soy milk — next time I might just grab...
