This was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had in Japan. I wondered if the guy had lost too much money at Pachinko last night because he was really in a bad mood. And honestly, I have no idea how long he’s going to stay that way—maybe a year or even the rest of his life.

When we asked to have the BBQ plate changed, he showed no expression, slammed the plate down with a loud noise, and walked away. What a funny guy.

I’m not judging this based on Japan’s typically high service standards, because it was nowhere...

Quite delicious wagyu beef that you cook on a grated grill. The beef was served with some kimchi, salad and soup that were all good. There is salt on the side. The place is clean and accepted my family of 4 with kids on a weekday afternoon. It was calm and not busy...
