Yaesu Terminal Hotel — Hotel in Tokyo

We only stayed at this hotel for our first night in Japan, we had to catch a train the next morning. I chose this hotel for the convenient location as we needed to be near Tokyo Station and we couldn't picked better, there's a combini just outside, a Starbucks and lots of eateries nearby and in the station. I was a bit worried about the room size as many earlier reviews complained about it, but we found the room big enough though on the cosy side. The bathroom was a bit harder to navigate but still manageable. Nonetheless I would still recommend this hotel, the staff were very welcoming and nice, we were given little goodie packs with toiletries and free water. The wifi was ok though disconnected a few times. We didn't have breakfast included in our rate but Starbucks opened early...

Skip this hotel. Zero star. My stay was truly dissapointed. I stayed in room 410. N luckily it is only for 1 night. Truly dissapointing. Room carpet is so used n flat n dusty. Air con filter is so old n unkept n dusty. Front desk serves w a sour look. With my allergies, i was sneezing the whole night. Toilet smell of urine n i literraly have to clean the toilet bowl, toilet sink n shower walls n bathtub. Horrendous. Room door opens n hits the foot of your bed.

I feedbak all these to the front desk officer on check out. Apart from the cultural apology, he just say he will feedback to room service. Not an ounce of offering any room discount nor voucher for revisit stay. ...

So I have stayed three nights in this hotel. It is convenient to Tokyo Station so it gives you access to Tokyo’s subway and train system. The bus stop for the Tokyo Shuttle is just around the corner and that is how we arrived here from the airport. The room is clean and has everything you need. I see in other reviews people commenting on how small the rooms are. They are small but we are comfortable with the space. If you judge the size of the room from a western view you will be disappointed. Around the hotel and at Tokyo Station are many places to eat so you will not starve. I would recommend this hotel to a traveler who is comfortable traveling from a carry on...
