I came here with a friend on the day of a national festivity in Japan. We're not sure if this was the reason why, but the restaurant felt severely understaffed. We booked a table before going and were given one with an incredible view over Tokyo, which was great! However, throughout the evening we struggled to get the attention of the only waiter, who seemed more busy tidying up than serving the growing number of customers. Read moreThe main reason you are reading this: The food was amazing. Of course, we ordered the Japanese steak. We did not get the prime version, but it was still super amazing. We understood each other well enough to order and communicate effectively. The whole staff was extremely welcoming and professionally prepared our seating area and plates before the food arrived. The chef was very nice and seemed very happy to see us; he asked how we would like our steak cooked. Overall, I wish we had tried this place in our hotel sooner; we probably would have ordered a few more times...
