麺場 風天 — Restaurant in Tokyo

It’s a bit hard to search for this shop called 麺場 風天/Memba Fuuten in Google Maps. But it’s quite easy to find from Oimachi Station. It’s one of those shops that looked dark and bare from the outside, with its old-school ticket vending system that accepted cash only and the counter-type only seats. There wasn’t any English menu and the staff didn’t even try communicating other than in Japanese. However, their tsukemen was probably one of the best I’ve ever eaten. It was so unforgettable that two years later after that first and only time eating there, here I am trying to look for it on the map and feeling the need to make a belated review. 2軒目としてこちらに伺いました。 1軒目も良かったのですが、こちらの「つけ麺」が気になっており、ついつい。

19時台でしたが、お店は繁盛しており、私が滞在している間にも途切れず。 私のような2次会利用だけでなく、晩御飯需要も大きいようです。
