I was looking for a ramen shop that sold something I've never tried before, and I chanced upon this Wagyu based one and decided to give it a try.

Its a small restaurant with 6 counter seats and it's tourist friendly as the menu board on the outside has pictures and english descriptions, and a vending machine inside with the dishes names in Japanese that you can play match-the-characters to order what you want.

As I entered, I was welcomed with a glass of ice water and handed them my tickets from the vending machine. It didn't take long for them to prepare my meal. I tried one of the braised meat ramen with corn and a bowl of wagyu beef slices and rice.

I started on the ramen first. The soup was really good and tasty, not overwhelmingly salty but brimming with intense flavour. The meat was not bad but I should had added a ramen egg. That was something that every ramen must have. However, I was satisfied with the bowl of noodles. No complaints.

The wagyu beef rice though, I need to emphasise, that it should had been eaten first. Once the ramen soup from the other dish was eaten, my taste buds were numbed to the nuances and subtle flavours of the wagyu slices. I felt it needed some sauce as it was quite bland. Maybe starting with the rice would had been better, then move on to the ramen.

It was a good meal nonetheless. Something different from the usual ramen joints and inexpensive. Give it a try if you are...

Experienced on the Saturday 21st of September 24 at night one hour before the closing time.

The restaurant is intimate (5 persons), but the staff is really passionate about the preparation of the plates (they even helped us with the ticket machine), the whole experience was really amazing.

The tonkotsu boil is made from beef bone and gives it an amazing strong taste and really makes you really addicted. The beef char-siu is well balanced between fat and meat and was truly yummy. My wife took the one with the black garlic oil and the spicy miso which added even more complexity in the balance and tasted incredible. The gyo-za were also delicious.

It was an amazing discovery for us, and I can't wait to come back there on our next...

Gyukotsu ramen is honestly not that common. There weren't many toppings on this bowl, but I didn't feel it needed more. The broth was already so creamy, and the way that these two wagyu chashu just melted in my mouth🤤 I like the mayu here but the spicy paste didn't add much, mainly cuz there...
