The drinks here are fine, but the attitude of waitress was terrible. We were told to wait at the middle of the cafe to pick an order as there is no cashier and was left there for 5 minutes. My friend really needed to go to the restroom so she went to the restroom first as I was trying call the waitress to order something. The first sentence the waitress told me was to not use the restroom without an order - I was so confused: I was left there for 5 minutes and trying to order, this is the only thing the waitress cared? After taking the order, we sat at the counter. I put my coat in the basket under the seat so there was not place left for my bag. There was no one next to us so I put my bag on the counter next to my elbow. The waitress immediately came and MOVED MY BAG and told me not to put it there. Who gave her the permission to touch my bag? I was so pissed off: she was 5 meters away in the kitchen and our drinks are not served yet. Coming here immediately means that she was watching us all the time and put her work right away to stop me doing so. I am very confused and angry as I disturbed no one but I was disturbed the other way around in a VERY RUDE way because of some unimportant details ALL THE TIME by the same waitress on purpose. Where does the service mind go? Is this the attitude...
Read moreSmall cafe that specializes in milk tea! This cafe is the most hard core in terms of fighting the COVID pandemic that I’ve run into in Tokyo.
You must order and pay OUTSIDE of the restaurant Upon entering: wash your hands immediately You are given a time limit: drinks only 40mins. Food +drinks only 1 hour. Unlike other cafes, they’re serious. I was given a memo with my time when I needed to leave. No talking in the cafe. Aside from eating mask-up!
I don’t mind these precautions at all. I felt like 8jours was taking it’s staff’s safety and the patrons safety into consideration. Yes, it’s not a chill out spot but it was always crowded before anyways.
Food: chai tea and cake with bananas were plain and not sweetened. Simple and tasty
Price: ¥1450 for cake...

The teas were great for a late brunch as well - the set comes with a tea before and another...
