Aoi Gyoen — Restaurant in Tokyo

It's a self service restaurant. The food is as fresh as it could get. I am enjoying a quiet tranquil very fresh meal with hint of classic music on the background here.

For overseas tourist, you might want to follow these lead to ease your mind : Open the entrance door and check if there is any empty seat. Once you got your seat, go to the counter and pay for the meal you have chosen. Wait on your seat until the owner call your number. After the meal, bring back the tray to the same counter. Spray and wipe your table, the same cleaning you had from your previous seat.

This restaurant CLEARLY doesn’t operate for profit, because their store is barely open. We tried to go to this store twice with no success until the third try, even though their hours said they’re open.

This chase for their kaiseki was worth it.

We went on a Monday at 11AM and there were already three locals in front of the line up. Everyday the restaurant offers their tuna set to the first 8 orders. We ordered the tuna set and their sashimi set. As many had reviewed, their fishes are fresh and filling.

マグロが食べたいなぁ！

2年くらい前、夜に友人と伺ったあおいさん、 お昼の限られた曜日にランチがある事を知り、調べて伺いました！

食べログフォロワーさんが、美味しく、お得で教えたく無い！と上げておられたので尚更、期待が高まります！( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

食べログを読む限り、お昼は11時頃から並び出し、オープン11時半には15名様ほど並ぶと記載があったので、11時20分頃到着！ 並びは13名様、 レビュアーさん確かな情報です！ ありがとうございます！

11時30分にはゾロゾロ店内に。

先にメニューを決めて店主に伝えます。 私「2月限定、ネギトロ丼をお願いいたします。」 そのまま先会計。 番号札を頂けます。

その後、各自、 好きなお席へ移動します。

注文口の前におしぼり、返却口近くにお茶、薬味類が置いてあり、セルフです。

店内にはカウンターとテーブル席があります。

オープンで店内ほぼ満席、 スタッフが来たいと言うので私は小さめの2人掛けの席に座っていると「こちら良いですか？」と男性に言われ。？？？？？ カウンターが空くのが待てない方は、自分でテーブル席の相席を相手に聞く様です。

周りを見ると、 4人席の相席も2人座ってますが、2席空いてる。

2人席の男性1人で座ってる方は3人います。

カウンターも1席空いている。

なぜ？異性、女性1人の私に相席のお願い？？？ 男性と女性が居るなら同席は女性に頼む私は暫くフリーズ。 (*ﾟｰﾟ)

(๑º ㅿº)ﾊｯ!!！もしかして、2名様！1名後から来るのかもと思い！ 私「どうぞ！」と伝え、私はカウンターに移動しました！直ぐに来たスタッフに空いていた4人席に座る様に伝えました。

ほぼ満席になった所で、店主がすばやく定食を作り番号を呼んでいきます！ 全てワンオペ！お疲れ様です！(￣^￣)ゞ

20分後位に、 私も呼ばれて取りに、 立派なネギトロ丼！ キラキラしてます！ お寿司はあまり食べないですが海鮮丼は大好き！ 特にネギトロ！（╹◡╹）♡

ますは、ネギトロを頂きます！ 一口頂くとマグロの濃厚な旨味！ ふんわりした美味しいネギトロ！ ご飯に混ぜて頂くと最高！(*//艸//)♡

マグロの赤身も4切れ付いていて分厚く、赤身の旨味が美味しいです！ 小鉢も充実してて、 冷奴、ごぼう胡麻和え、菜葉のお浸し、浅漬け、ごぼうの胡麻和え、浅漬けが特に美味しかったです！

ご飯が足りなくなりお代わり！( ´ ▽ `...
