Be warned : patties are crépinette in this burger shop. That means, pork caul is used as a net for ground beef. The good point is that the beef is not mixed with egg, bread, onions, flour or any other unwanted stuff nor chemicals. The bad point is, as the caul seems not to be the highest quality - unless the preparation skills of the cook are not good- and therefore, you'll get some cartilaginous bits. And that's a huge bad surprise to hurt your teeth on a hard part while chewing an otherwise super tender burger. This plus the price, 1800 yen for a lunch set, are keeping the fifth star away. On the bright aide, burgers are made of fresh ingredients right in front of you, sizes are generous, the bread, sauce and cheese all melt superbly into a flavorful coating for the juciky and tasty meat. The place is small, with 8 table seats and about 6 counter seats. You can also take away. I ordered a basil and mushroom cheeseburger, but I couldn't feel any of the basil or mushrooms. The burger was super balanced and almost creamy in the mouth, so I liked it anyway. But I guess that most burgers, except the fish ones, taste the same. They have quit a selection of drinks and a real coffee machine, which is rare for a burger restaurant. This place is FULL of French customers, because an influencial YouTuber ranked it the best burger in Japan. That's a subjective view. It's overall a pleasant experience, but a bit expensive and not to be eaten all teeth in, go carefully and expect a few...
Read moreExpectations were high with these reviews. This is a good place but it fell a bit short.
No issue at all with the service or the interior. I got a bacon cheese burger and the garlic fries I saw so lauded in the reviews. It was a fine burger but I felt it was a bit unbalanced. The bacon chunks (yes chunks, not strips) were SO thick, more like ham, but very tasty and indulgent. Patty was juicy and yummy, if a little thin. Weighed a little too heavy on the salad as a result. Towards the end of the burger I tipped it out and ate it with a knife and fork because it lost a lot of its integrity. I'd still rate the burger highly, it's definitely still well above average.
The garlic fries didn't meet my expectations at all. Granted, they aren't your typical fries; they are fried so much they're barely potatoes any more and have a crunchy, almost potato chip texture. But the result is really, really greasy. It was a bit like eating salty, solidified oil, and the garlic didn't help with that feeling. I like oily, unhealthy food as much as the next guy but this was like grease and nothing else.
You'll still get a good burger and good service out of this place, don't worry. It's just that for the price I've had...

I came to Burger Kitchen CHATTY CHATTY back in 2023 during my first trip to Tokyo. This is the only burger I have ever had which did not feel heavy at all for the amount of meat they put.
It left such a good impression that 2 years later, the first meal I had to have in Tokyo was another burger.
We got 4 different burgers: Standard Burger Bacon Cheeseburger Pepper Smoke Burger Spicy Salsa Chicken
The beef patties are incredibly cooked as always, and I'm glad to see that they still use big pieces of bacon instead of bacon strips. There's plenty of options for non-beef eaters, including vegetarian burgers and chicken burgers.
The bun is the most unique part- it's very light and is very bottom-heavy. Honestly, they've found their unique spin to a burger and are destroying the game.
The restaurant is clean and vibey, and it feels very cozy.
Shoestring fries are a must with your burger!
Always rooting for this place, I already have my eye on the Avocado cheeseburger for...
