Serve fennel(powder ) tea not Jasmine tea.
Beef noodles are all the same around Tokyo. If you went to Australia or California, this pho may not meet your expectations, as the quality is much lower than average. I came here because many reviewers gave it 4 stars. I ordered the Bun Bo Que lunch set, which included a corner of spring roll, a pinch of cilantro (pakichi)and lemon(old and dried) ,a small cup of mung bean dessert, and a side dish of (tsukemono)vegetables that I remember should have been cabbage, but was replaced with a tiny portion of bean sprouts and one small pinch of chicken (which I didn’t even touch).
Everything was in such small portions that it didn’t feel fair for what you paid. The pho soup was very bland and lacked the spices and fish sauce that typically add flavor. The meat tasted stale and dry, like cardboard that had been stored for more than two weeks. I ended up giving up on it after just a couple of bites. The tiny tendon was very hard, not fully cooked, and tougher than my rubber sandal. It wasn’t worth putting that kind of meat in my mouth. This dish seems only suitable for those who are not familiar with Vietnamese cuisine.
In terms of price, it was overpriced compared to Japanese ramen, and the quality was below that of ramen. I don't understand Vietnamese living in Japan. Vietnamese in Western countries put a lot of love into making their pho, which is rich, fresh,...
Read moreIf you’ve ever been to Vietnam 🇻🇳 or simply enjoy Vietnamese food, I think this is a good place to visit. The atmosphere and food are very close to what you’d experience in Vietnam — I’d say about 90% authentic.
The dishes are very close in taste to what’s served in Vietnam, largely because, as I understand it, the chefs are Vietnamese.
However, there were some downsides, which is why I can't give it five stars. First, the Sinh To Dua (coconut 🥥 shake) — it didn’t smell or taste remotely like coconut. In Vietnam, no one would return to a café after trying this. It was made from canned coconut cream, with the consistency of water and an unpleasant taste typical of cheap, raw coconut cream. 🤢 I’m sure even the staff wouldn’t ever drink something like that themselves.
Also, the Banh Mi Thit (meat 🥓 sandwich), which I usually love, was decent but extremely basic. Just a few pieces of meat and some greens — none of the pickled vegetables or other fillings you’d typically expect. However, I have to give them credit for the baguette itself — it was 100% authentic, just like...

I've been to the shop at another location and the service there was really terrible.
Here the manager is a really super friendly Vietnamese man who goes out of his way to make sure that everything is okay.
The other waitresses were not very friendly at all. The girls seemed rushed and didn't seem to care about customer service at all. They remind me of the waitresses at the other branch.
The problem however was the food that I ordered. I ordered some noodles with pork knuckles and the price and taste didn't match up at all and I was really shocked. Nankotsu... Pork knuckles for undercooked and overly hard. It was a really bad lunch and I wish that I had ordered something else.
It's like I paid a lot just for rice noodles in broth. The set was about 1,600 Yen so I could have definitely eaten something better. The flavor of the...
