This is such a gem tucked in Ebisu. I was starving for a full service bar experience towards the end of my last trip in Japan. I was so glad to find this place.
Atmosphere 5/5 It has this classy cocktail bar vibe in Manhattan New York. They didn't play Jazz like other gazillion "bars" in Japan, but more like chill house music. I found that rather refreshing. Comfortable chairs and bar stools. I definitely recommend sitting at the bar. Bartenders are all friendly, and some even chat up with you in English.
Drinks 5/5 This place boasts its specialty in absinthe, and they ain't lying let me tell you. Drinks are strong but elaborate and most importantly, tasty. Pricing is fair even comparing to the US (I think 10% automatic gratuity), and definitely on a more reasonable side for Japanese full-service bars.
10/10 I will...

This feels like a legitimate place to drink absinthe. These guys know what they're doing and take pride in what (and how) they serve you. There's a little instruction snippet if it's your first time, and they dispel the myth of lighting your absinthe on fire (thank goodness).
The prices are really good for what you're getting. It can be crowded at times do it helps to go early so you can get a table right away and not...
