【香ばし鶏白湯と野菜の調和】
Tucked away in Ebisu, Ramen Kanmuri-o surprised me with a lighter, more vegetable-forward take on ramen that still packed in plenty of comforting richness.
I chose their Special Chicken White Ramen, drawn in by the promise of grilled meat and colorful vegetables—and it delivered. The broth had a gentle, golden hue and opened with a soft, savory embrace. The flame-kissed chicken was silky, tender, and surprisingly satisfying. What began as a harmonious bowl, however, risked becoming monotonous—until I discovered the house yuzu spice mix, which revived the dish and gave it a welcome lift.
The vending machine system was refreshingly modern, offering both card and cashless payment—rare for a ramen spot. My bowl arrived quickly, a small mountain of noodles and toppings that might be a bit much for lighter appetites like mine.
Despite the fullness, I’m already planning my next visit. Next time: fewer noodles, same great flavor.

Read moreWhen in Japan, we naturally wanted to try ramen. However, finding a place that serves chicken broth ramen proved to be quite difficult and time-consuming. The staff, however, were extremely understanding and guided us through the ordering process on the vending machine. Once we ordered, our food arrived quickly. As soon as we started eating, people began to arrive one by one, and the whole place filled up within seconds. The ramen was affordable and...

I chose the Special Chicken Broth Ramen ¥1.450, everything was very tasty even the chicken loin was not bland at all. Especially loved the grilled chicken skin and the chicken charsiu since it was grilled and you could really taste the smokey flavour. The toppings are pretty unique they even add yuzu pepper 柚子胡椒 on the side that can make the soup taste fresh.
Even though the location is not easily visible, I highly recommend you try...
