Double curry day! This shop is technically within walking distance from Shimo-Kitazawa station but there's also Shindaita station right across the street from it. The shop serves some Thai fusion ramen. Other than this green curry bowl, there's also a tom yum variant. As far as Thai curry goes, I think this curry broth was delicious. They probably didn't hold back on the shrimp paste and fish sauce because all the flavors were there. I love that it came with a decent amount of heat by default too. I saw a few empty crates of Mikawaya Seimen in front of the shop so I assume that's where they got the noodles. Jesus!!! One of the best meals I ate in Japan- and everything I ate was spectacular! This place was so good on our return tip to Tokyo we took the 90 minute detour to come back to try more options on the menu.

First time round I had the Tom Yum ramen, second time the Thai Green. I think the Tom Yum beat it by a smidge but my god they were both insane. The food has all the freshness of Thai food perfectly balanced with the duttyness of an intense meaty ramen broth!

A unique blend of Southeast Asian flavours and Japanese tonkotsu ramen. All three of the speciality bowls (green curry soba, tom yam soba and laksa soba) are fantastic and full of flavour. I usually go for the laksa or green curry (with pakchee topping when it's available!). They also do a decent regular tonkotsu ramen but that's not why most people come here. Only downside would be the price/portion size... it's a bit smaller and more expensive than your average bowl... but definitely worth it. You will get cravings💉 They also have a shop...
