Nicely designed, good looking, and everything is done "correctly" but lacking in heart/soul and the coffee itself is rather bland and uninspired. The latte I had tasted on par with a chain like doutor, mostly milk and almost no coffee taste at all, certainly no varietal nuance or layering as you'd get at a high end 3rd wave shop. The carrot cake I had was nearly frozen and also fairly dense and tasteless. There's also an undercurrent of tight-assness from the warning signs everywhere about no pictures and talking etc. I suppose if this was a Tokyo top 10 coffee shop then they could dictate the attitude, but given the performance it seems unwarranted. Read moreI purchased a brownie and ice cream. I only received ice cream. They forgot to give me the brownie. I asked where is my brownie and the staff ignored me. The line was very long. I waited in the line again and after about 5 minutes my ice cream melted. The staff didn't offer a refund or discount or new ice cream. The staff did not take responsibility for their mistake and did not try to correct the mistake. The woman apologized but the apology was very insincere and fake. It was obvious she didn't care what happened. Very disgusting. I highly recommend not to visit this place. Horrible experience. I think if the owner hired new staff this place can easily become a...
