Deck side: Ordering style is different from restaurant side, you’ll order at the stall and pick up drinks and get buzzer for food kinda like a food court. Ordered the margherita pizza and an iced coffee, overall standard taste and prices are pretty reasonable. The main selling point of this place is the spectacular views and relaxing vibes. I really enjoyed my time here and didn’t feel rushed, was able to enjoy the views while drinking coffee and chatting with friends. We were there on a Tuesday afternoon and there was a ton of seating with shade available, it started to get a bit more packed in late afternoon especially on the smoking side of the deck (there is also a non smoking area all the way at the end where most people were sitting). Very pleasantly surprised to see a baby changing station in the handicapped bathroom (thank you!!) but the stairs going down into the restaurant and deck are a bit difficult to manage (no slope) so if you’re going with a stroller expect to carry it down and then readjust after going down the stairs. I will definitely be coming back and will update my review once I’ve tried the...

I am revisiting my review after another visit. The cafe is large, has a pleasant canal view with water and green. The Saturday lunch sets are delicious if you order pizza or some of the desserts (gelato was good, not sweet not heavy), but the pasta is not really good at all. The starters are also very generic and bland. The first thing we were told at the entrance was that we have to order at least a set. The place was crowded with people and it felt like there is not much interest in serving more. In both my visits the service was slow, inattentive, and not friendly - very atypical. Even the bathroom that you learn to expect to be super clean and great anywhere in Tokyo was suboptimal here. You can easily do better in terms of both service, authenticity and food in Kagurazaka. In my first visit as a single visitor the waiters never came to offer me a menu until I asked for it, cleaning the table before coffee and dessert was also not part of the plan. In the second visit as a group of three a few years later it was not any better. Unfortunately, it felt overpriced for the selection of the food and the...

Ate here for the first time in May 2024, really enjoyed their salad and margarita pizza. Service was good.

Came again March 2025, service was not friendly and also ignored me the entire time after I sat down to dine on the patio for lunch. Nobody came to serve me or even acknowledge me for 25 min….they would walk by me and just ignore. I signaled to a waiter as well, they just seemed to want to ignore foreigners. Which is odd given it wasn’t packed, and there were several tourists on the takeout cafe patio who actually had food and got served. I sat there feeling stupid and very fed up thinking—this isn’t worth it, so i just walked out. Left a bad taste in my mouth compare to 2024, so cut my losses and went to a different place nearby.

I recommend if you want maybe a faster more pleasant experience, order food or drinks from their outdoor cafe takeout area that’s down the dock. Doubt I will go here again after being ignored by every waiter.

Other reviews mention the owner here is racist older japanese guy, so no wonder. I just hope he is nice to...
