Good shio ramen with a variety of flavor options!

The shop itself was relatively large for a ramen shop, with a few bigger tables for groups. This place is also open extremely late, which is a big plus. Ordering is done via a ticket machine outside, which had English below each of the options in Japanese. This place specializes in shio ramen, but offers a few variations of the broth (mild, rich, spicy mild and spicy rich). Along with that, they have a large variety of toppings.

I went with their "otokomori" (manly) ramen, which featured an egg, chashu, and chicken karaage on top. The broth was solid, but was further elevated by the various on-the-table toppings such as a very garlicky smelling miso paste. The real winner for me was the karaage, which was extremely crispy (and somehow stayed crispy in the broth), but was also very flavorful!

Good spot for groups, lots of options of flavor and topping combinations. Get...

I went to the location up the same road on the left from this ramen shop. Google map does not show it but this is my review since both shops are the same exact chain. The food was amazing! I believe I ordered the Otokomori ramen and it was just unbelievable one of the best ramen I had in Japan. The worker there was super friendly and helpful. You order from the machine and go sit inside. The worker will ask you some questions which I did not understand because I don’t understand Japanese. He knew English and helped me make my bowl. The fried chicken was still crispy despite it being in broth. The broth was strong and flavorful. Noodles were normal sized and had great texture. Overall, the food and staff were amazing! Despite it being a chain in Japan, don’t be fooled. I would highly recommend for some tasty cheap ramen. The prices and quality...

Hands down best ramen we ate in Japan! Visited late on a Wednesday (17/1) and had absolutely no idea what we were doing in terms of ordering from the ticket machine at the entrance and clearly really annoyed the young woman who was managing arrivals (sorry!). We eventually worked it out and ordered the special Ga-Ba-Chi" Ramen (aka "Garlic Butter Cheese"), some gyoza, and two types of shio ramen. A little card on our table told us that the chef had worked for 13 years to perfect shio ramen and the effort shows, they were absolutely outstanding. The garlic butter cheese was unlike any ramen I’ve eaten, delicious with the best fried chicken I ate in Japan (how do they keep it so crispy in a bowl of soup??). Gyoza were tasty. Obviously popular with the locals, we felt we’d lucked upon something...
