Personally, I love this place!
It's a small little curry house, which offers you a plethora of options of how you'd like your rice and curry!
The food is tasty and absolutely delicious, and has wonderful flavours and a hint of spices! It has an English menu, so wonderful for us tourists and non-natives! Slightly pricy, but still reasonable and packs a whole meal so no complaints.
We went for dinner, and saw lot of locals coming here for dinner after work. There's a bookshelf as well, which was a very nice touch!
As an Indian, I was particularly missing tasty rice & curry and this place delivers on taste...
Read moreIf you're up for some Japanese curry, look no further. Even during busy times of the day, this place seems to have enough seats to accommodate all of the customers, which is impressive and very convenient, compared to many other restaurants nearby that have terrifyingly long lines forming in front of their entrances. The menu offers a wide selection with translations in multiple languages, including English, as well as accurate images, and it's easy to order just by pointing to whatever you like. The service is quite fast, the staff is very professional, and the food is absolutely great, yet the prices are...

This CoCo Ichibanya branch is located at the intersection of Ningyocho-dori and Edo-dori, nearest to Kodemmacho Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. It appears to be popular with office workers who stop by for a meal before heading home via the subway. Since Kodemmachō is a relatively minor station, and not connected to major lines like the JR Yamanote Line, this location rarely attracts tourists specifically seeking it out. As a result, the restaurant tends to be fairly quiet on weekends. The interior is very small, with seating limited almost entirely to counter seats. While the aisle behind the counter allows for two people to pass, travelers carrying large luggage or those using wheelchairs may find the space extremely tight and uncomfortable. Additionally, the entrance has a step, making accessibility difficult. Therefore, this branch is not recommended for travelers or guests with mobility challenges. As for the dishes itself, the quality is consistent with other CoCo Ichibanya locations, offering the same customizable Japanese curry options. However, possibly due to the cramped working space, the staff seemed somewhat hurried and less relaxed compared to other branches. Service wasn’t poor, but lacked the warmth you might expect in a more spacious or...
